What do you do when you can’t make yourself get out of bed in the morning? You know how it is. Your body just doesn’t want to move. The alarm goes off. You just wait and wait for it to get bored and turn itself off so you don’t have to budge. It happens to me a lot, lately, but fortunately I’ve got an edge.
I spent the day cleaning the house. With my mind. It’s a pretty mundane use of telekinesis, sure, but it beats feeling like I didn’t accomplish anything. I didn’t take the trash out, since I’m not sure I could explain that to the neighbors. I even made breakfast and a little bit of lunch.
It’s funny how people – well, the few people who know – think I should do more with this. I guess it could be a really big deal. But I don’t want it to be. I don’t want fame, or attention, or any of that.
I just want to be able to flip the light switch or close the door when I forget. I want to not have to pause the TV to get something from the fridge. And I want to get something done even when I spend the whole day in bed.
